The Indonesian authorities have again changed the rules for traveling within the country. PCR tests have been cancelled, but a booster vaccine has been made mandatory for domestic travel.

DOMESTIC TRAVELLING RULES

Travelers by air, sea, land transportation using private or public vehicles, crossings, and intercity trains between regions throughout Indonesia should follow these rules:

✔️ All travelers over the age of 18 are required to have booster vaccinations for domestic travel*;

* This does not apply to those who enter from abroad and continue their international flight. For all international travelers connecting to a domestic flight, a full vaccination certificate (2 doses) is enough

✔️ All travelers aged 6 to 17 are required to have a full vaccination certificate (2 doses);

✔️ Travelers under 6 y.o. are excluded from vaccination rules, but are obliged to carry out travel with a travel companion/parents who have complied with the COVID-19 vaccination rule;

✔️ Travelers with special health conditions or comorbid diseases that prevent from receiving vaccinations have to provide a doctor’s certificate from the Hospital stating that they are unable to take part in the COVID-19 vaccination.
