The Indonesia Standard Industrial Classification, commonly referred to as KBLI (Klasifikasi Baku Lapangan Usaha Indonesia), is an official system developed to categorize economic activities within the country. This classification organizes businesses based on the types of goods they produce or the services they provide, offering a clear segmentation of various sectors.
The KBLI framework aligns with international standards, including the International Standard Industrial Classification (ISIC), East Asia Manufacturing Statistics (EAMS), and the ASEAN Common Industrial Classification (ACIC). Its development and implementation are overseen by Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), Indonesia’s Central Statistics Agency.
The Verified KBLI classification is authorized by the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, and the Directorate General of General Legal Administration, ensuring its accuracy and compliance with both national and international guidelines.
