Visa on arrival available again from 7 March, 2022

Finally, this happened! From March 7th, it is possible again to get VOA to visit Bali with tourism purposes! Please check the details below.

Circular from Dirjen Imigrasi No. IMI-0525.GR.01.01/2022 Concerning Visa On Arrival Special For Tourism In Supporting Sustainable Tourism in Bali During Covid-2019

Summary of Circular:

From March 7, the following citizens from 23 countries can get Visa on Arrival (VOA) tourism to visit Bali: Australia, USA, Netherlands, Brunei Darussalam, The Philippines, United Kingdom, Italy, Japan, Germany, Cambodia, Canada, South Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, France, Qatar, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, and Vietnam.

* For all other nationalities, eVisa B211 is still required

Immigration control at the port of entry will be carried out by checking:

  1. Nationality Passport which is valid for at least 6 (six) months
  2. A return ticket or a one-way ticket to continue the journey to another country, and
  3. Other required documents following the rules from Indonesian Satgas Covid-19.⠀

✔️ VOA is a Visit Stay Permit with a max period of 30 days which can be extended only one time for 30 days at the Immigration Office and cannot be switched to another status.

❗️VOA holders CAN NOT convert their visa to another visa or stay permit inside the country (not possible to apply for a new onshore B211 visa or Kitas)

❗Currently VOA is available in Bali only. If you enter the country via Jakarta, you need to apply for eVisa B211
