We recommend for all travelers to pay more attention to planning trips both international and domestic during the period from November 12th to 18th due to the G20 Summit.

The total number of participants from various countries/delegations who will attend in Indonesia, especially Bali, is estimated at 20,988 delegates from 19 Member Countries, European Union and Invited Guests.

Due to the fact that on these days the Bali airport, as well as the airports of neighboring islands, will be overloaded, all travelers are encouraged to double-check flight times with their airline in case of any last-minute changes.

Pay more attention, especially if you have connecting flights.

Travelers heading to the airport at any point during the week of the 12th-18th November are advised to add extra time for delays and diversions, as some roads will be closed for safety. The roads on which the delegates will travel will be restricted.

This applies to the following areas:

  • roads leading to Apurva Kempinski 12–17 November 2022
  • Nusa Dua ITDC Zone November 12-17, 2022.
  • roads leading to the Jalan Tol Bali Mandara TOLL Road November 12–17, 2022
  • roads leading to Garuda Vishnu Kencana Cultural Park (GWK) November 15, 2022
  • roads leading to Kawasan Mangrove Reserve from Denpasar and Badung District November 15-16, 2022

Authorities in Bali state they have done their best to avoid adding to traffic congestion and any inconvenience to local people and visitors of the Island.

However, we highly recommend you to have some extra time if you have trips planned for those days.
