Current visa regulations for entry direct to Bali

How to come to Bali

Bali became the official port of entry from 4 February. This means that you can now take quarantine in Bali as well.

International Travelers entering Indonesia through Bali (Denpasar) airports have to provide:

  • Valid eVisa
  • Full vaccination certificate in English (should be at least 14 days after the last dose)
  • PCR test not older than 48 hours before departure
  •  eHAC QR code from Peduli Lindungi application
  • Health insurance of at least $25,000 with COVID-19 coverage
  • The confirmation with a QR code of the quarantine hotel booking
  • Also, you need to have a ticket from Indonesia (after 60 days or earlier), it can be asked by your airline at check-in

You should take 5 x 24 hours quarantine at the port of entry and do 2 more PCR tests. The first PCR test will be done inside the airport upon arrival and the second one in the hotel on the 4th day of the quarantine.

Quarantine can be done in one of the five hotels (see below) or one of the six cruise ships (information about it is being specified). IMPORTANT (!) You should book a quarantine hotel directly through hotel managers (via email or WhatsApp), not through booking services. You need to get a quarantine package, including a transfer, meals and a PCR test, and not just a room for holidays. After booking, the hotel must send a QR code, which you must show at the airport upon arrival to enter the country.
