Quarantine To Enter Indonesia is Officially Over

On Wednesday 23rd March 2022, Indonesian authorities issued the circular Surat Edaran Kasatgas Nomor 15 Tahun 2022, released by the SATGAS (The Official Covid 19 Task Force) which lifts the quarantine for all of Indonesia.

Summary of the Circular:⠀

  • To enter the country, all international travelers need to provide eVisa or is eligible for Visa On Arrival (currently 42 nationalities)⠀
  • All international travelers must be fully vaccinated and provide a negative PCR test taken max 2×24 hours before departure
  • All international travelers have to take a PCR test upon arrival and wait forthe result at the pre-booked for 1 night accommodation (CSHE certified). If the PCR test result is negative, they can leave the hotel and continue the trip.
  • Unvaccinated children under 18 follow parents’ requirements
  • For travelers with special health conditions or comorbid diseases that cause the traveler can’t take part in the COVID-19 vaccination, it is allowed to continue the trip by being obliged to attach a doctor’s certificate from the Government Hospital of origin country stating that the person can’t receive the COVID-19 vaccination.
