A Baby Report is the official immigration process to report the birth of a baby born in Indonesia to foreign parents. It ensures the baby is legally recorded in the immigration system and becomes eligible to apply for a stay permit (ITK/ITAS) or exit permit.

Please note: After completing the Baby Report, it is mandatory to apply for a stay permit for the baby (linked to one of the parents, usually the mother) as soon as possible.

WHAT IS REQUIRED
From Parents:
- Color copy of both parents’ passports
- Passport cover photos (both parents + baby)
- Mother’s valid electronic visa (VOA, C/D visa, KITAS, or KITAP)
If using VOA: Include visa-on-arrival stamp or e-ITK/e-stay permit
If using KITAS/C/D visa: Include:
Molina system login (username + password)
E-Visa
Sponsor ID
Company sponsorship letter + stamp

From Baby:
- Original passport
- Birth certificate from the hospital (in English or Indonesian)
Must include both parents’ names if married - Birth certificate from Civil Registration Office (Disdukcapil)
- Baby photos (3×4 cm, white background)
Marriage Certificate:
- English version (if available)
- Translation service available upon request
For Investor KITAS Holders:
- The mother’s capital must be upgraded to IDR 10 billion/person before applying

Important Deadlines & Late Submissions
Baby Report must be completed within 90 days of the baby’s birth
Submissions after 90 days incur a late fee:
• Nusa Dua Immigration: IDR 2,500,000
• Denpasar Immigration: IDR 2,500,000
Express service is not available for late submissions
Sworn translation services for documents (e.g., marriage or birth certificates) are available—please inform us in advance if needed.
