Freelance KITAS

Are you a DJ? A musician or a singer? Artist or Art director? Maybe you are a model or a dancer? Do you have a dream to live and work in Bali? We have a solution for you. You can get a Freelance Kitas (sometimes called Artist Visa or Entertainment Kitas).

This legal Work Permit for 6 months allows you to work and obtain income in Indonesia. Unlike the Working KITAS, You do not need an employer to apply for this visa; our company will provide the sponsorship. 

Entertainment KITAS (Freelance Kitas) can be issued for certain positions only.

This is a multiple-entry visa, so you can leave the country and come back as many times as you need during the validity of your visa.

What Is Required

From Applicant

  • Passport (minimum validity 18 months)
  • Reference letter for the last 5 years of work
  • Bachelor’s degree or a certificate of a specialist in the profession (in English)
  • Health Insurance
  • Color photo for documents
  • Bank account statement with a minimum balance of $2000 for the last 3 months
  • Name of the occupation
  • Address in Bali
  • Photo of current visa (for onshore process)

Full processing time: 1,5-2 Months (including RPTK, IMPTA, eVISA process, and registration in Immigration upon arrival. Not including public holidays and days off).

Important: To submit documents, your current stay permit must have at least 31 days remaining before it expires.

System errors or new visa regulations from the Indonesian government may lead to changes in visa processing times, obtaining rules, or country entry regulations.

DON’T MISS!

If you change your address, you must update the address on your KITAS. Similarly, if a KITAS holder obtains a new passport, the KITAS must be transferred from the old passport to the new one.
