Family KITAP

The Family KITAP is a Permanent Stay Permit for foreigners married to Indonesian citizens.

This permit offers the following benefits:

• A five-year stay permit, extendable
• A two-year Multiple Re-Entry Permit (MERP), extendable
• An Indonesian ID (eKTP), valid for five years
• The ability to open local bank accounts, apply for credit cards, and even obtain loans

Only Family KITAS holders sponsored by their Indonesian spouse can apply for the Family KITAP after two years of marriage.

• Price: IDR 35,000,000 (includes a stay permit for 5 years and multiple reentry permits for 2 years (which can be extended every 2 years).
• Processing time: 25-30 business days (the process needs to start 3 months before the current KITAS expires).

Personal Documents from the spouse (scan copies): 

1. ID (KTP), Family certificate (KK), Birth certificate (Akta lahir), Marriage certificate
2. NPWP (tax card) and Bank statement with a minimum amount of $1500 
3. Domicile letter / KIPEM (if not Balinese ID) 

Personal Documents from the Applicant:

1. Original passport with a minimum validity of 34 months.
2. Address in Bali (should be the same address as in local spouse’s ID).
3. CNI Letter from the embassy confirming that the foreigner has no other official spouse.
4. Photo with any background (passport size).
