The Retirement KITAP is a Permanent Stay Permit designed for retirees who dream of enjoying their golden years on Indonesia’s tranquil tropical islands.
This permit is issued for 5 years and can be renewed every 5 years for a lifetime. For retirees planning to travel abroad, a Multiple Re-entry Permit (MERP) is also required. This permit, issued for 2 years at a time, ensures hassle-free re-entry into Indonesia.
To qualify, applicants must have held a Retirement KITAS for at least four consecutive years with a single sponsor.
