Retirement KITAS

Bali is one of the most comfortable and welcoming destinations for retirees. Its tropical climate, warm weather, stunning nature, improving healthcare services, and the hospitality of the local people create the perfect environment for a relaxed and carefree lifestyle.

Great news! Indonesian law offers a special visa designed for senior citizens — the Retirement Visa KITAS.

The Retirement KITAS is a temporary residence permit in Indonesia issued to individuals aged 60 or older. It is valid for 1 year and can be extended annually. After 5 consecutive years of holding a Retirement KITAS, you become eligible to apply for a KITAP (Permanent Residence Permit).

During the visa’s validity, you can leave and re-enter the country an unlimited number of times.

PURPOSE OF VISIT

The Retirement Visa KITAS is intended for applicants aged 60 or older, allowing them to retire in Indonesia. Important: The Retirement KITAS does not grant the right to work or earn income within the country.
